Georgen Scarborough Associates, PC believes strongly in giving back to their community. Living and working in the Vienna for so many years, has given us a deep love for the people and places that surround us. We are pleased to be affiliated with a number of worthwhile organizations in our area that assist in making life better for everyone.
We are actively involved in the following service and community organizations:
The local Optimist Club of Greater Vienna is a group of volunteers who donate their time, energy, and funds to serve the youth of the greater Vienna community including students at James Madison, George Marshall and Oakton High Schools and their feeder schools.
Historic Vienna, Inc. (HVI), established by the Vienna Town Council on April 5, 1976, is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to preserve, promote, inspire and educate the public concerning Vienna’s historic heritage.
HVI operates the Freeman House and the Original Library, acquires and exhibit historic artifacts, conducts tours and presentations as well as sponsoring several annual events.
The Vienna Tysons Chamber of Commerce serves the businesses and citizens in the Northern Virginia communities of Vienna, Tysons Corner, Oakton, Merrifield and Dunn Loring since the 1940s. Their mission is to provide a strategic link between businesses and the community through community engagement, networking, special events, marketing, advocacy, education and political representation.
Annual sponsor. UCM is a private, non-profit, community-based social service agency working with individuals and families to help them improve their life. They operate housing programs for victims of abuse, the homeless and those in need of transitional housing. They also operate family and children’s services, emergency assistance for people in crisis and workforce development programs.
Sponsor. Since 2005, the National Capital Area Division of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) has been sponsoring the April Open. Proceeds from this annual event are used to underwrite the local work and programs of NKF.
The National Kidney Foundation is the leading volunteer organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals as well as families impacted by kidney disease. They are also heavily involved in increasing the availability of organs for transplantation.
We thank DH and Kathy for taking good care of two generations of our family’s interests.
